I read a lot of academic textbooks & often have to leave multiple place holders in a book to mark various pages of interest and, in doing so, I frequently run out of bookmarks and have to buy more!
I now know what is a good bookmark for my task and what is not and, for me the best bookmarks are those that do not bend, crease or ‘get lost’ within the pages of the larger format of textbooks.
Imagine my pleasant surprise when I received a book that already had a bookmark inside, and that bookmark was a beautiful wooden Kookaburra bookmark, complete with a ribbon that had a little wooden Kooka ‘in flight’ attached at the of the ribbon.
I instantly loved it and started using it!
It is a very attractive design and VERY well made, lightweight yet - being wooden - is robust, and can NOT be lost within the myriad pages of a book, because it has the ribbon attached that sits ‘outside’ of the book’s pages..
I LOVE IT 💖 and I can’t wait to buy some more ...
Psst 🤫 they’d make a great gift for anyone, young, old or in-between...
