Great quality cotton T shirt. The Australian Aboriginal Flag was designed in 1971 by Aboriginal artist Harold Thomas. The flag was originally designed for the land rights movement, and it became a symbol of the Aboriginal people of Australia.
The symbolic meaning of the flag colours:
- Black: Represents the Aboriginal people of Australia
- Red: Represents the red earth, the red ochre and a spiritual relationship to the land
- Yellow: Represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector

This is an official licensed product. WAM clothing hold the licence to sell the Aboriginal flag on products and we resell their products. They are the only company legally allowed by Harold Thomas to use the flag on shirts etc. We want to be able to give Indigenous and other Australian's access to flag products to show love and respect for culture. We hope in the future the flag becomes more accessible to everyone and others can also create these clothing and other items with the flag.
