"The life story of Yolngu(aboriginal people) shared with John Cawte for over 20 Years is now shared with you" For two decades (1970 to 1990), Professor John Cawte annually visited the Yolngu clan of northeast Arnhem Land. During this time he recorded, with the clan leader s' permission, traditional medicinal knowledge, and healing scenes were specially enacted and photog raphed. This information is now presented publicly for the first time in Healers Of Arnhem Land.
