These beautiful boxwood clapsticks are made by craftsman Ossie Egan from the Mati Mati tribe in South West Victoria. They measure approx 25cm x 3.5 - 4cm
Clapsticks have been used for thousands and thousands of years to keep rhythm in song and dance.
We purchase Ossie's clapsticks, didgeridoos, bullroarers and emu callers directly from him.
Clapsticks are all individual and vary slightly from pair to pair but are all equally as beautiful as eachother :-)
I use these for my kinder class when we gather for group time and singing. The children love them, they have nice australian designs, and have a great clap!
My son absolutely loves these and helps him connect to land and country through participating in music 🥰 they’re beautifully made
Beautiful work.
Love them. Using them in ceremony today
They are awesome! Beautifully crafted and solid sound. (However you sent me brolgas instead of goannas....) They are unique.
