From the young age of 18 John had a talent for painting.
Inspired by both his mother and his own children, John has been painting for over 30 years, spending 25 of those as a professional artist. His work, spanning various mediums, has reached audiences around the world.
One of the most recognizable features of his style is the depiction of kangaroo sunsets, which have become a signature element in his art.
John's mothers family come from the Minjungbal people around where he grew up in Fingal, beside the ocean in Northeast NSW.
He carries his father's name who came from Rotuma Island within Fiji.
John has been providing us with his stunning artwork since our early days in the 2000s. We’re proud to purchase his pieces directly from him.
