Experience the deep, resonant sound of a traditionally crafted bullroarer, made from authentic Australian Brigalow — a dense, fine-grained hardwood sourced from the Acacia harpophylla tree. Brigalow is native to Australia and not commercially harvested, making each piece naturally unique and truly special.
This bullroarer has been precision-shaped and weighted to create optimal rotation speed and sound projection. Every instrument is tested to ensure it produces a tone just like the one featured in our demo video — powerful, atmospheric, and unmistakably authentic.

A year or so ago my brother-in-law, archeologist, blacksmith and musician in Spain, asked me if I knew anything about bull roarers. I didn’t, but I looked on line for one to buy and then for ideas about how to make one. Then I went to Spain and and tried to make one. I couldn’t, so when I got back to Australia I looked again and found Daniel at Planet Corroboree.
I couldn’t have been luckier - the Tundun he sells are handmade by local indigenous artisans in NSW from local hardwood, tuned by hand by Daniel and very beautiful. I asked more questions and got solid answers.
The best service - easy, efficient, good humoured and well informed.
Thanks Daniel.
