Kangaroo Dreaming Children's T-Shirt

Children's 100% cotton T-Shirt with Aboriginal art design "Kangaroo Dreaming" by renowned Indigenous artist Jamie Eastwood from the Ngemba Tribe in Western NSW.

Although he lives and works in urban western Sydney, Jamie's paintings and designs are far from this. His work reflects his ancestry, the Dreamtime, and Dreaming stories that have been passed on by ancestors to young Aboriginal generations. Jamie merges the cross-culturalism of today's Aboriginal Heritage, in traditional and non-traditional images and colors. In 1992-93, during NAIDOC week, he was named ''NSW Artist of the Year''. Apart from painting and designing he also works on community murals and in schools teaching Aboriginal art. He says: ''I hope to maintain the Dreaming into the future, and for a peaceful and harmonious relationship for the future of both black and white Australians''.
