This handmade carving was created by Tim Ives in Byron Bay on the North East coast of Australia. Tim is a Bundjalung, Gummbaingirr man who shares his culture through his unique creations. They are made from recycled Camphor Laurel wood.
In the last few years we haven't had much opportunity to purchase Tim's amazing creations from him as he is focused on other things. They are very special and do not last long in stock. They are all beautifully crafted. They are all individually made. The piece used in this photo is an example and actual ones sent will be as of the same quality but might have small differences.
Wombat in Bundjalung language = Juluhrgan
Measures 13.5 x 6 x 4 cm
